These pictures were taken at Headcorn village, Kent in 1989. We did a documentary for Kent County Council to show in their schools, which
painted a picture of life in the 1880s and explaining the changes which took place in Kent after the formation of the County Council in 1889.
It looked in particular at the history of the Police, road building, education and the Fire Service.
